The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022 is on the horizon, and it might just be our favorite fashion, beauty, and home sale of the summer. (Sorry not sorry to anyone who worships at the altar of Amazon Prime Day, Memorial Day, or even the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale.) Judging by last year’s blowout, we’re in for some amazing details from the multibrand retailer this July.
Literally thousands of products will be marked down during the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which takes place each summer during the month of July. To help you maximize your finds (and your savings), we’re getting into everything you need to know before the sale starts—including how to get early access to the best deals—no coupon or promo code required—and what some of the most popular items were last year. Study up below.
When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022?
This year Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale (a.k.a. the #NSale) will be open to everyone from July 15 through July 30. That’s just over two weeks of jaw-dropping deals. And depending on how you like to shop, you can browse the seemingly endless markdowns both in store and online. (The brand recommends the latter.) Nordstrom’s sale preview starts on June 29, giving you plenty of time to add items to your wish list—and arrange for curbside pickup. Think of it as Black Friday in July but with (hopefully) better weather.
On top of that, Nordstrom cardmembers and the Nordy Club members get early access to the sale prices: Icons can access the sale starting on July 6, Ambassadors on July 7, and Influencers on July 9. Whether or not you’re an actual Nordstrom Rewards member, if you’ve shopped the event before, you know that the best stuff gets picked over during the days of early access—so if you want to get your hands on it, look into joining the Nordy Club and applying for a Nordstrom credit card for extra perks. (It’s totally free to join, FYI.)
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 Best Sellers
While we won’t know exactly what the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale items will be until June 29, there’s a high chance that popular clothing and beauty brands like Nike, Ugg, Zella, La Mer, Olaplex, Natori, Tory Burch, Stuart Weitzman (hi, new booties), Charlotte Tilbury, and Spanx will be included. Even Kate Middleton–approved brands (!) like Jo Malone, Bobbi Brown, Kiehl’s Since 1851, and Superga will likely be in the mix. Of course, there’s no telling how long anything will actually be in stock—we’ve had items snatched up from our carts—so you’ll have to act quickly to keep speedier shoppers from snagging them first.
On that note, we’re rounding up some of last year’s most popular finds to give you an idea of what to expect this time around. In the style department, we saw shoppers gravitate toward timeless, versatile pieces that would fit into any capsule wardrobe. Athleisure was also a big winner, considering that summer is an ideal time to upgrade your sweat sesh essentials. And high-quality skin care and home pieces flew off the virtual sale event shelves too, since you’re likely to buy those at full price anyway.
