It’s felt like Sydney Sweeney is everywhere these days—and that’s only going to increase in the near future. The rising star, best known for her roles on the popular HBO series Euphoria and The White Lotus, is staying busy with new projects in development. We’re most excited for her to star opposite Dakota Johnson in , a new film in the Spider-Man universe, but the actor is also filming a movie called National Anthem in which Halsey will make their acting debut.
Adding to her growing résumé, Sweeney has been declared one of Teen Vogue‘s New Hollywood Class of 2022. To celebrate these rising stars, Teen Vogue hosted a dinner party in Los Angeles where Sweeney, along with the other talented honorees, showed up in their best for the event.

Sweeney is coming into her own style with sleek and chic designs that emphasize her maturity, a contrast to the teenaged roles she has taken on. At the party, The White Lotus actor wore a floor-length black dress from Brandon Maxwell’s fall 2022 ready-to-wear collection. Styled by Molly Dickson, the simplicity of the black dress was kept interesting by the sheer tulle draping over her thighs and the square neck v-cut bodice.
In preparation for her role in the recently announced National Anthem movie, Sweeney tinted her blonde strands a strawberry tone that has inspired many to jump on the red-hair trend. However, it seems like that was a temporary choice because her golden hair was on display again for the Teen Vogue event.
Hairstylist Florido Basallo III added bumped ends to the pin-straight style to create a classic look, while makeup artist Melissa Hernandez highlighted Sweeney’s natural beauty with a subtle pearlescent eyeshadow look—wing included. Even though her nails are hard to spot in most pictures, the actor shared to her Instagram Story a close-up of her set created by Zola Ganzorigt, that featured a simple abstract swirl design on extended tips.
Earlier in March, Teen Vogue announced their list of up-and-coming Hollywood stars that are taking over our screens. In addition to Sweeney, the list included Patti Harrison, Caleb McLaughlin, Xolo Maridueña, Karena Evans, Devery Jacobs, Morgan Cooper, and Nik Dodani.
