**Thiery Perusat has been appointed president of French denim brand Kaporal.**
The executive previously served as CEO of Lacoste from 2015 to 2020, and most recently as CEO of SportyHenri.com, where he led the company’s digital transformation.
Perusat succeeds Laurent Emsellem, who had been president of Kaporal since 2019. Emsellem will remain on the board of directors.
Kaporal was founded in 2004 by Laurent Emsellem and Patrick Robinson, and is known for its premium denim jeans and casual wear. The brand has over 200 stores in France and abroad, and is also sold in department stores and online.
