The women’s fashion brand Polín et moi closed 2022 on a high note, with a 152% increase in turnover. The Spanish brand plans to continue growing internationally this year and is looking to expand into the United States and the United Kingdom.
In 2021, the company had sales of 2.5 million euros, which means that with its increased sales in 2022, it would have exceeded 6 million euros in turnover.
Last year, the brand made a strong commitment to its international development, having expanded into 30 markets. According to a press release, sales outside Spain increased from 1% to 25% of its total sales, with Germany, Portugal and Italy as its main markets, followed by France, the Netherlands and Belgium.
In the last year, Polín et moi has also expanded its offer by increasing its volume of products, models and stock. The brand announced that it will open new spaces in El Corte Inglés and that it will join the Tendam group’s online multi-brand platform in 2023. The company will also look to strengthen its wholesale channel with the launch of a B2B sales platform.
And while the company has not yet made any sales growth forecasts for this year, it did say: “If there is one thing Polín et Moi wants to maintain this year, it is undoubtedly the level of growth achieved in 2022, a year in which foreign markets have been one of the Spanish company’s main value propositions”. For this reason, strengthening its presence in foreign markets by testing its entry into countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom will be a key part of the company’s strategy.
