Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. Oh, is that you, Kourtney Kardashian?
On January 8, the Poosh founder shared a large photo dump on Instagram featuring a series of seemingly random photos, including an X-ray of a broken bone, Reign getting a haircut, and a bunch of OOTD pics. “Blah blah blah,” she captioned the Instagram carousel, which began with a sultry selfie of the reality star in a strappy black-and-white striped dress with tied-up cutouts along its sides.
She paired the open-back dress with her fresh bob and bold red lips, giving sexy Beetlejuice vibes with just the right touch of Winona Ryder. But this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this dress on Kourt’s feed.

Kardashian debuted the dress on Instagram during her trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with then boyfriend Travis Barker in August 2021. The pair were at least six months deep into their steamy relationship, which first went public that February. “Yummy,” she captioned the pic at the time, pairing the dress with strappy black sandals, a similar red lip, and one Blink-182 drummer. Considering the Spanish “No smoking” sign in the recent bathroom selfie, it’s entirely possible the photo is a throwback from this trip.

Kourtney Kardashian’s style notably shifted from power glam to punk tour wife around the time she began dating her now husband, as sister Khloé Kardashian pointed out while taking Vanity Fair. “Do you think I changed my style when I started dating [Travis Barker]?” Kourtney asked, to which Khloé Kardashian immediately said, “Yes.” When asked if she prefers her sister’s style now, Khloé was less sure. “I don’t know,” she said. “It’s not bad or good.”
Pressed by Kourtney for a “real answer,” she added, “I liked your style before and I like your style now, but I do think this is a phase and you’ll go back to where your heart is.”
Maybe…but it looks to me like Kourtney’s heart—and style—is exactly where she wants it to be.
