Camila Cabello has embraced the sheer lingerie, oversized blazer, and short power suit trends all in one look.
Taking a page out of the books of Rihanna, Kristen Stewart, and Kylie Jenner, the former Fifth Harmony member appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon wearing Gucci-logo short shorts and a matching oversized blazer over a sheer black lace bustier. Cabello accessorized the look with a pair of Gucci kitten heels, a matching silk choker, and gold hoop earrings. Her hair was styled long and straight with a classic middle part, and her makeup look involved a smoky eye and pink lips.
Cabello had a little fun with the paparazzi, flipping off the cameras in one pic that she also shared on Instagram.
It appears Gucci is going all in on the suit and lingerie combo. On March 18, Dakota Johnson attended the SXSW premiere of her new film, Cha Cha Real Smooth, wearing a sheer nude Gucci-logo corset with a ’70s-inspired linen pantsuit.
Camila Cabello rocked her own sheer-corset look with wide-leg trousers later that month. On March 24 the “Bam Bam” singer was photographed in London wearing a sheer black Dion Lee top and a matching fireworks-print coat and pants ensemble from Dries Van Noten. The mesh corset-styled top exposed the singer’s midriff and a bit of underboob.
Cabello is currently celebrating the release of her third album, Familia. The first single off the album, “Bam Bam,” was released on March 4 and heavily references her ex, Shawn Mendes, in the lyrics.
“I love Shawn,” Cabello told Zane Lowe during an appearance on Apple Music 1’s , per E! News. “And I feel like there is literally nothing but love for him. And this song is mostly just about like, ‘Okay, how do I make a song that shows the cycles of love, and life, and gives people….’ Whatever it is that’s going on in your life…hopefully, this can make you be like, ‘It is that way now, but things are always taking crazy turns.’”
