There are celebrity mother-daughter twins, and then there are Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford. The look-alike pair have been gallivanting around New York City, as supermodels do, looking gorgeous on the red carpet, also as supermodels do.
On November 15, the duo wore Ralph Lauren to the National Book Awards, where their outfits could not disguise the fact that they have practically the same face. Both opted for a neutral color palette—Gerber in chocolate brown and Crawford in pure white—but while Gerber wore a dress, her mother opted for chic suiting.
Gerber’s strapless suede gown—a vintage piece from Ralph Lauren’s fall 2001 show—featured a simple figure-skimming silhouette, with a leather band at the neckline for a touch of visual interest. Crawford, meanwhile, went with a very on-trend monochrome look. She paired her tapered trousers with a fitted blazer, a silk blouse, and an envelope clutch.
The OG supermodel completed her look with a diamond necklace to match her diamond earrings and silver strappy sandals. The younger model, on the other hand, barely wore any jewelry at all, limiting her accessories to minimalist earrings and a ring on her right hand.

For an event at Planet Omega on November 14, Gerber wore a black bodysuit and pleated miniskirt from Alaïa, while her mom wore a simple draped black dress.
